FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON YORK, York – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel rooms were a great size, but my stay started late in the day. They were extremely clean, which was nice. However, the initial smell when I entered was not very pleasant. The service was incredibly nice and professional; very friendly people. The location was great - close to restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. The breakfast was awesome, offering real bacon, seasoned potatoes, eggs, fruit, and soy milk, catering to different needs. Some disappointment in the not-so-clean bathrooms though. Overall, a value for money experience.

Staying at this hotel was a bit of a mixed experience. The rooms felt more like a basic motel but were surprisingly clean, comfortable, and spacious. Sadly, the constant noise from the restaurant fans on the roof was a downside. On the bright side, the service was very pleasant, professional, and helpful, although a bit slow at the bar. The location had its ups and downs, being accessible to our destinations but falling short of what was expected from a Sheraton hotel. The dining experiences were hit and miss, with some disappointments like cleanliness issues in the bathrooms and limited breakfast options. Overall, it was a somewhat average stay with its share of highs and lows.

The service, on the other hand, was exceptional with the staff being friendly, helpful, and wonderful. The location was convenient for exploring, though the outdated gym was a letdown.
